Nelvil II Moomintroth (9 November 1863 - 11 December 1935) was the last Empeurer of House Moomintroth. His official title was Nelvil II Moomintroth, Hortator of All the Houses and Empeurer of Myroria. Under his rule Myroria entered the Great War, suffered dire losses, and was nearly conquered. After his death, the Council of the Great Houses chose Fendryn Quarrovth of House Quarrovth to succeed him to the throne, and House Moomintroth never gained back the power it once had.
Nelvil took the throne in 1890 after the death of his father Nelvil I Moomintroth and reigned until his death in 1935. Critics nicknamed him "Bloody Nelvil" because of the terrible losses suffered in the Great War, and the various anti-outlander pogroms that occurred during his reign. Though later respected as a monarch who kept all of Myroria's territory during the Great War while other nations suffered losses, many Myrorian citizens were relieved at his death.
Nelvil died in 1935, and in a stunning event known as the Revolution of 1935, the Council of Great Houses passed over the assumed successor to the throne, Hloris Indiotrovth, of House Indiotrovth, and instead chose Fendryn Quarrovth of House Quarrovth. Under House Quarrovth's rule Myroria would return to prosperity, though some older citizens remembered fondly the days of the brave yet naive Nelvil II.
