Laws of Taijitu

Taijitu has a number of Laws covering and controlling different institutions and practices.

Constitution

The Constitution of Taijitu provides for the structure of government of Taijitu.

Treaties

There is an Alliance Between Taijitu and The North Pacific.

Laws

No Law currently deals with finance, though in 2007-2008 there was a Budget Act.

Criminal and Judicial Law

• The Criminal Code defines the region's crimes. Largely common sense.
• The Due Process Act establishes how people can be tried for crimes, as well as some civil suit and arbitration processes.

Governance Laws

• The Oaths Act passed by the Senate specifies the oath for each government position.
• The Ministries Act establishes the ministries of the Executive Branch and specifies how they may be filled and altered by the Delegate.
• The Election and Referendums Act defines how elections and referenda are to be scheduled and implemented.
• The Senate and Court Membership Act defines how large the Senate and Court of Taijitu are to be.

Specific Policy

• The Flag and Seals Act defines the symbols of Taijitu.
• The Founder Nation Act sets the attributes of the Founder Nation, Taijitu Founder.
• The Holidays Act writes two legal holidays into Taijitu's calendar.
• The World Assembly Act specifies how the Delegate is to vote on World Assembly resolutions.

The Senate can also be considered to be setting specific policy by enacting decisions on Taijitu Founder issues here.

Executive Policy
