The Taijitu Centre-Right Party is a center-right political party. It is dedicated to maintaining fiscal and social practicality within Taijitu.

Political Stances

  • Money is ultimately what is important to the region, so the budget must be balanced at almost all costs.
  • There is no longer a need for large labor unions, as working conditions are now maintained by regional and WA legislature.
  • The Party has no official religion, and all religions are and should be viewed as the same, with no special preference to one religion or another.
  • Every citizen is guaranteed certain inalienable rights, such as Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Expression, Right to Bear Arms, Freedom of Opinion, etc.
  • Any breach of these rights is totally unacceptable and the individual or group that breaches said rights is subject to major consequences.
  • The personal privacy of citizens is paramount, and no part of the government should be allowed to breach the relative privacy of an individual.
  • While personal privacy is important, freedom of information from the government and corporations is also very important, and keeps a level of trust between the "political class" and the average person.
  • The tax burden should be uniform and low for the entire populace, and there should be as few taxes possible, according to the budget.
  • Little should be spent by the government that is not absolutely necessary.
  • The bureaucratic cabinet is key to keeping the delegate balanced, however,
  • The bureaucracy is too large compared to the Senate, and either the Senate needs to be expanded and the Ministries consolidated.

Structure

  • Any citizen is permitted to request to join the CRP by inquiring on the forum page dedicated to the CRP.
  • A candidate running for the office of Delegate is required to select a running mate from the CRP. (Except for in the case that there is too few available members in the party to run as Lieutenant Delegate)
  • Members of the Party may move for the party to endorse and/or nominate any citizen running for public office within the Taijitu government, regardless of the candidate's party affiliation.
  • Any changes to the structure of the Taijitu Centre-Right Party may be enacted through internal voting withing the party.
  • The chairman of the CRP is the leader of the Party. The Chairman is selected in an internal election, held the 1st of every month.
  • In the event that the Chair is vacated for any reason, there shall be a prompt Special Election, the date of which will be approved by a majority vote within the party.
  • The chairman's duties include making official public statements on behalf of the Party and approving or denying applications to join the party.
  • When elections for chairman take place, any CRP member may endorse/nominate any other CRP member.

History

The Taijitu Centre-Right Party was founded on April 16th, 2012, to fill the conservative void left by the sudden disappearance of the People's Nationalist Liberation Front, and to bring opposition to the long reigning Progressive Party. On April 23, 2012, the CRP marked a milestone with it's first acquisition of a seat in government, with Funkadelia becoming the Minister of Community under Delegate Gulliver. On June 23, 2012, it was decided that then called Civic Democratic Party would change its name to the Taijitu Centre-Right Party, for clarity. On July 8, 2012, the CRP had its biggest success in its history when Funkadelia was elected Delegate of Taijitu.
