Practicing Melkorism within St Oz is a punishable offense measuring at least 10 years in jail, with more severe penalties such as capital punishment for teaching anyone under 15, leading a Melkorist group, or practicing Melkorism a second time. Although no longer widely enforced, the law still exists.
