Senator
A Senator is any member of the the Senate of Taijitu. Senators are entitled to propose and vote on legislation and amendments to the Constitution of Taijitu.
Eligibility
Any citizen who has held their citizenship for at least 15 days may apply to join the Senate. If they do so they are then subject to a review and confirmation vote by the current Senate body.
Oath
I, [forum name], do solemnly swear that I shall hold by and not abuse the powers of my office as enumerated by the Constitution, that I shall wield my legislative authority with responsibility and within in the confines of the procedures of the Senate, legislate with intent to secure the well being and security of the region, forum community, and individual Taijitan citizens, and recognize that should I fail to comply to this oath office and its powers may be by a vote of the Senate forfeit.
