St. Oz (Ozian:Ստ՟ Ոժի tr. St. Oži) or Ozia (Ozian:Ոժի tr. Oži), officially known as The Divine People's Republic of the O People (Ozian:Սանքթտլժա Բոբցլիէ Ռբպւվլիքը դեվ Ոժի tr. Sanktizha Populiē Repuvklikë dev Oži) is a country located at the mouth of Cefnor. It is a theocratic socialist republic comprised of 19 different districts, three of which are Autonomous People's Republics. Ozia's location made it a historical crossroad for commerce, culture, and science, and it has been recognized as a dominant nation in the Cefnor region since the creation of the first Divine Republic in 910 BCE under the leadership of the First Listener. An early Dunedain culture called the Praemians settled on the Ozian archipeligo 10,000 years ago, and desert peoples from central Pelagis known as the Frezhi settled and assimilated into Praemian culture near the strait around 5000 years ago. The Frezhi assimilation created a unique caste within Praemia named the O people and were repressed by the Dunedain nobles. The Ozian people are predominantly descended by the O people, but due to its historically strategic area and strict anti-slavery religious laws, the modern Ozian ethnicity is a mixture of Libians, Pelagians, Jutensans, Myrorians, Eluvatarans, Letonnese, Austrasians, and Neustrians.
