Ozian
Ozian (Ozian:Ոլեն tr. Language of O peoples) is the official language in St. Oz, the Diamond Coast, and the Novic Region of Stuv Oz. Exact figures are very unreliable but it is estimated that there are about 525 million L1 speakers of Ozian. While there have been tonal shifts and separate evolutions of the language, such as into Moaz, Ozian remains fundamentally the same since the Zhadae Sankta first wrote her Chronicles. People of Moacia make a large majority of L2 speakers since Moaz is the majority language there, and Ozian is the only official language in any territory of St. Oz.

Alphabet
Before the 1500s BCE Ozian writing originally developed from the Fre'zhi logosyllabic writing system. An unknown occurrence shifted the use from the Fre'zhi script to its more modern form. The current alphabet relied heavily on the Praemian alphabet, but also retained some influence from the Fre'zhi script to show its own uniqueness. While originally having 32 letters, during the 19th century C.E. the communist government simplified the alphabet to 26. However some regions of Ozia, particularly Jutensa, La Sava, and other eastern regions not heavily influenced by the communists still use the 32 letter alphabet in their spelling. A few regions have also reverted back to the old 32 letter alphabet.

Grammar
Ozian is structured as an SOV language. Verbs usually follow one of six main conjugation patterns, but some verbs called "Strong Verbs" follow their own pattern that must be memorized. Nouns depending on their form follow five declension patterns that linguists theorize is the combination of Praemian gender based nouns (something similar to the Eruvite male/female/animate/inanimate forms) and the non-gender Fre'zhi nouns. Some nouns do not exactly fit these five declension patterns and have to be memorized. There are six declensions in Ozian, nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, ablative, and vocative.
