SOSOT
SOSOT (Ozian:ՍՈՍՈՏ tr. SOSOT) is the special forces division of STIA containing about 3,000 men and women. The division is often the subject of criticism from both domestic groups and foreign civil rights groups. They are a group comprised of orphans who were taken in by the government at birth through age 5. They have guardians until they are age six, who are considered paid government officials that are responsible for their early child development. At age seven they begin their training and education as a SOSOT operative. The training process of SOSOT operatives is a well kept state-secret, but rumor and speculations suggest that some children die through the training process. The final product though is a highly efficient special forces soldier whose main duty is highly flexible to whatever needs Ozia has. SOSOT participates in anti-terrorism, hostage situations, fighting crime, assisting in foreign operations, and historically been associated with assassinations. 25% of retired SOSOT members endure a special psychological disorder dubbed "SOSOT withdrawal syndrome", which is characterized by a high rate of suicide, depression, and PTSD.
