There is no single large ethnic group in Takasia. There are almost 2,000 races in Takasia, making the nation one of the most cosmopolitan in the city. Schools and offices often see smorgasbord of different races ([http://forum.taijitu.org/out-of-character-discussions/images-of-your-people/msg40060/#msg40060 photo]). The same holds true for government positions too. While there is not any significant ethnic group in the nation, ethnic tension is unheard of.

The Kingdom of Takasia is a small nation in the Arctic region of Taijitu. It is situated on a peninsula called "the Horn of O", the north-westernmost corner of the continent O.

The peninsula was sparely populated by feudal lords active in the region before the Union of Takasia was founded. Immigrants started flocking in, starting in the 1990's, and is currently the vast majority of Takasia. It did not only make Takasia one of the most cosmopolitan nation in Taijitu, but also a bustling trading post in the area.

On 13th April 2007, The Union of Takasia became the Kingdom of Takasia, with King Takas I (Vladimir Pabosky) as the monarch.
