The Enlightened Empire, well known for it's very imperialistic behavior in the past, always relied much more on it's powerful army than diplomatic contracts for protection. While sometimes other nations sharply criticize Feniexia for being over-militaristic, the army is extremely important in keeping law and order (see also Feniexian Civil Protection on this issue), saving lives during emergency situations, and it is also extremely important for the Feniexian economics, which is based on about 20% on weapon manufacturing, vehicle production, and other military products.

Individual weapons
The primary individual weapons of the Feniexian Forces are the RX4 Storm RC521 with a Rifle Grip Enhancer (built for using 5.56 × 45 mm NATO instead of .223 Remington however, unlike the "real world" version of it), and, as small arms, all soldiers do carry USP Elite pistols. The FMWS (Feniexian Modular Weapon System) provides many additions to the RX4; laser sight, grenade launchers and other parts can be mounted on a FMWS-able weapon quick and easily. There is a great range of specialized weapons the Feniexian Forces use; examples would be the M1014 Combat Shotgun, the M82A1 SASR, the APR 338, the APR 308, and a Standard sniper rifle "Alex"-like weapon dubbed "Feniexian Standard Sniper Rifle" (or, shorter, and more common, "FSSR"). The XM3-sniper rifle is also used, but only by the best of all snipers serving in the army because of it's expense.
Current research
Currently, a TIS-1 Laser Rifle-like experimental weapon system was proposed and has already entered some kind of "alpha testing phase" (according to SECA Arms Research Division speaker Jonathan Samuels); however, there are still some major disadvantages which need to be fixed to make such a weapon fit for field usage, and, according to leading scientists, those weapons won't be ready for field testings until 2015. Powered Exoskeletons are in similar testing phases; however, those are much more close to enter a field testing phase than the TIS-1 (again, according to the earlier mentioned Jonathan Samuels).

The Feniexian Forces mainly depends on rotary-wing type aircraft. Air superiority or bombing of enemy territory is left to the Feniexian Airforce. Mainly used crafts are the Sikorsky CH-53 series (53E Super Stallion/Sea Dragon and 53K), the RAH-66 Comanche, the HAL Light Combat Helicopter, the UH-72 Lakota, the SH-60 Seahawk (mainly used by Coast Guard and Navy), the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk, the OH-58 Kiowa, the AC-99 Assault Carrier, the HC-120 Heavy Carrier, the [[CVTOL-80] for intercontinental infantry transport and it's variant HCVTOL-80a for intercontinental vehicle transport.
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
The only UAV officially used by the Feniexian Forces is the MQ-1C Warrior; however, FENIX troopers (the Feniexian equivalent to RL USA's marines) is using them heavily.
