History The Cree Tribes were once disunited nomads who roamed the land for thousands of years. The Cree were mostly powerful warrriors and were ruled by warrior-kings and queens. Women to the roles of both provider, defender, and housekeeper. The kings and queens even had an elite bodyguard of women warriors. Constant war destroyed many tribes, then recently the ruling members of a coastal tribe made alliances with some of the southern tribes and launched a crusade to unite the squabbling tribes. For seven years the war ravaged the land, but in the end, the leading member of the family, crowned himself Emperor Paul I. He united the various chiefs and created the Grand Council with himself as High Chief.

Government The Confederacy of the Cree Tribes is a constitioninal monarchy. It is ruled by three men. The first is the Emperor himself. But his power is limited to head of state and commander-in-chief. The second is Chancellor David Morena. The Chancellor is the head of the government and is the head of the Grand Council. He is elected by the people. The third man is the Patriarch Jon Geneva. The Patriarch is the head of the shamans and is appointed by the emperor.

The Cree Tribes are a confederacy of There are three powerful factions in the Cree government. One was the Grand Council, the legislative body of the Cree Tribes. The second faction is the shamans who made up the religous body. Emperor Paul I left the shamans alone after uniting the tribes. He believed that the new nation needed to run on tradition. The third and final faction was the High Command of the Imperial Armed Forces. The various tribes brough their warriors together to create a modern military. The five generals and the two admirals make up the entire High Command.

The Imperial Family The Imperial Family are the heads of Cree society. Emperor Paul I is the first emperor and is also very young. The young emperor is only twenty-eight. The emperor is not married, so there are no immediate successors to the throne. His mother is the Queen Mother and is very generous to the people. She constantly holds grand parties where the people attend. The nobles, who are Emperor Paul's brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles and aunts, all have their eye on the throne. But they are still extremly loyal to the emperor.

Military The Imperial Armed Forces are headed by the High Command. There are three branches. The Army, the Air Force, and the Navy. Ever since the unification of the tribes, military service is mandatory to all citizens for three years. After that, those who choose may join the Territorial Forces which is the reserve branch in the Army. The Imperial Forces numbered hundreds of thousands and the Territorial Forces number over a million strong. Unlike most modern militaries, the Imperial Army still has combat-roled horse cavalry. This was an example of the emperor's message of sticking to tradition. The Imperial Navy is split into three separate branches: the Imperial Attack Forces, the Imperial Coastal Defense Fleet, and the elite High Seas Fleet. The carriers of the Navy both carry CF-18 Hornets http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/bf/Canadian_CF-18.jpg
