Tengriism was the ancient belief of all Turkic Peoples before the vast majority joined known world regions.It is still actively practised in Crimean Tatars.
Tengri means "God" in Old Turkic Language.In the Crimean Tatar Language and Turkish Language Tengri means Tanrı(God).
In this religion the God was Tengri.But there are shamans,totems in this religion.Also the tengrists(Worships The Tengri) are pray the own ancestors.
