Tengriism was the ancient belief of all Turkic Peoples before the vast majority joined known world regions.It is still actively practised in Crimean Tatars. Tengri means "God" in Old Turkic Language.In the Crimean Tatar Language and Turkish Language Tengri means Tanrı(God).
