Ganymede

Ganymede is a moon orbiting the planet of Orestes. It is most famous as being the only place besides Taijitu to have liquid water, however, on Ganymede the water is so salty that no creature could ever survive beneath its waters. It is also the only planet besides Taijitu to have white clouds of water. Despite its high temperature of 305 degrees Kelvin, some ice sheets are around the north and south poles. The largest is only about fifteen kilometers across and five kilometers tall. Ganymede is suggested by some to look like what Orestes would have in its youth, but others say Taijitu is a closer match. As is known, Orestes dried up sometime as the first humans were evolving on Taijitu. It is unknown if life ever existed there (see Orestes for more details).
