The Saint John's Square bombing of 2007 was a terrorist attack perpetrated by John Henley, an Inglish foreigner that came to Myroria in the days of the Glorious Revolution. He placed four pipe bombs on the obelisk in the center of the square while the Myrorian Catholics at Mass had their eyes closed and were praying. A guard at the entrace spotted him and asked him what he was doing while he was leaving the area. In response, Henley shot the guard three times with a revolver, killing him.

All dates are in Myrorian Standard Time (-5 Prime Taijituan Meridian Time)

John Henley entered Saint John's Square at 9:03 AM, as the morning Mass was starting. At 9:07, when the Myrorian Catholics praying closed their eyes and looked at the ground, he quickly placed his bombs on the obelisk. He then left, and planned for the bombs to explode at 9:10 AM. While he was leaving, however, a guard stopped him and asked him why he was touching the obelisk (guards are not required to pray in Mass). Henley didn't say anything, but rather shot the guard three times with a revolver. As a result, all the other guards in the square ran toward him, and three others tried in vain to dearm the bombs. They exploded at 9:10 AM.

Only 3 civilians and 3 guard were killed by the explosion itself. The other 309 civilians were killed by the obelisk falling or the shrapnel that came from it's collapse. By 9:15 AM, 315 people were dead as a result of the attack, and Henley was captured.

The court ruled that Henley was to be executed, though he was only 15. An emergency meeting of the Great Houses organized by Comrade Vrotrith of Great House Vrotrith did not make the court change its ruling. In Vrotrith's mind, he believed that Henley was not deserving of the death penalty because he was a minor.

The day before Henley was to be executed, he escaped, and the other leaders of the Great Houses thought that Vrotrith bribed the guards to allow Henley to escape. The case is still being researched.
