Global Trench Football Organization

The Global Trench Football Organization or GTFO

is the most popular Trenchball league in The Republic of Megatridimensional Order, and has the highest average attendance of any sports league in the world. Its championship game, the Mega Bowl, is played on a national holiday called Trench Day, and ranks among the most-watched club sporting events in Taijitu. The GTFO consists of sixteen (16) teams, divided equally between the Pelagia Football Conference (PC) and the Libian Football Conference (LC). The GTFO's regular season runs from the week of Labor Day to Trench Day. Each team plays sixteen games. Following the conclusion of the regular season, four teams from each conference (three division winners and one wild card team) advance to the playoffs, a single-elimination tournament culminating in the Mega Bowl, played between the champions of the PC and the LC.

The GTFO was formed in 1893.
