This manual is intended to teach new recruiters how to properly recruit for Taijitu using Toaster2. All the necessary steps are listed in order below. Not following these instructions while recruiting may result in us running afoul of NationStates rules, so please pay attention to them.

  1. Register on toaster (unless you want to use some other OpenID provider and know what you're doing).
  2. Log into your nation. If you haven't already set up OpenID, go to settings. Scroll down to where it says "OpenID..." and click. It will open two new fields, OpenID Delegate and OpenID Server. In OpenID Delegate put "http://toaster.taijitu.org/openid_user/[your user name]" and in OpenID Server put "http://toaster.taijitu.org/openid". You will not need to set up OpenID again unless you change these settings later.

  8. Click "Taijitu Recruitment" in the list of queues.

  9. If the queue is not empty, a nation and telegram will be loaded. Check that the nation has not left its original feeder.

  10. If the nation has not left, check that its name, flag and motto are not offensive.

  11. If the nation checks out, click "Send".

  12. Check if the telegram was sent. If it is blocked, wait and try again.

  13. If the telegram is sent, click "Get Next" and wait for the next nation in the queue to load.

Repeat these steps until the queue is empty (or you need to stop). The queue will refresh every two minutes. If at any time you get an error message, or have reason to believe that Toaster2 is not functioning properly, contact Eluvatar.
