The Federal Republic of Cozulul (Germenian: Zvezna Bundesrepublik Cozulul) is a Federal Republic located on the northern half of the continent of Parvusia. It is composed of 12 Provinces, excluding the capital city which acts on its own. Each Province may elect their own Council Member to represent them in the Federal Council.

History

The Cozululian Confederation

At the turn of the 20th century, The Cozululian Confederation was formed by the 12 Provinces. Much like today, the government consisted of a Chancellor, a Council, and a National Council. The only difference is that during the Confederation, there was no Direct Democracy, and the Chancellor had the Majority of Power.

Declaration of Direct Democracy

During the time from the year 1900 to the year 1983, the Chancellor had supreme power, with little say from the two Councils. This created a distasteful hatred in the Cozululians minds. They believed that they too should have a say in their government. On January 18, 1983, The Declaration of Direct Democracy was written by people from all walks of life in Cozulul, this included Council Members, the Wealthy, the Middle Class, and the Poor. The Declaration allowed for the sharing of power between the Chancellor, the two Councils, and of course, the People.

Conflicts in Parvusia

FRoC vs. EoL, KSM, FoF

On the rise currently is the ever growing threat from the newly formed "union". The "Union" consists of three nations so far, The Empire of Letonna (EoL), The Kingdom of Southern Mcmasterdonia (KSM), and The Republic of Funkadelia (FoF). EoL and KSM both reside on the continent of Parvusia, to the southeast of The Federal Republic of Cozulul (FRoC). The "Union" has been ever aggressive towards FRoC, due to the fact that they declined admittance into the "Union". Reason for this is because of what the "Union" stands for, Conquest and Colonization. The Federal Republic of Cozulul has a strong history of neutrality, but is not afraid to act when necessary. War may seem eminent, but leaders seek to avoid such lengths.

Politics

Current Government

The Federal Republic of Cozulul is a Federal Republic with Directorial System, and Direct Democracy. The Current Federal Chancellor, Biryndra Ommos, is part of the Liberal Statist Party (LSP) which is the largest Political Party by a little over half of the population. The Federal Council has 6 members which are part of the LSP, while 2 members are part of the Golden Star Party (GSP), and 4 members are part of the Economic Right Party (ERP). The current Judicial system is run by The High Judge, Litia Aughbanor.

Political Parties

LSP (Liberal Statist Party): The LSP believes in heavy taxation, a heavy public sector, and increasing the funding towards Healthcare, and Education.

ERP (Economic Right Party): The ERP believes in a free market with little to no taxation, a heavy private sector, and increasing funding toward Industry, and Military.

GSP (Golden Star Party): The GSP believes in medium taxation, with a balance between public and private sectors, and having an omnipresent government.

• The Edelweiss is a very popular flower grown everywhere in Cozulul. The national anthem, Edelweiss, Bless My Homeland Forever, contains the flower due to its "Magical" Appearance, and major popularity among the populace. Any diplomat who receives the Edelweiss from The Federal Republic of Cozulul, is of highest regards.

Economy

The Federal Republic of Cozulul is a fairly industrialized country that is continuing to move forward. Major metropolitan areas are fairly modernized with many service jobs, as well as environmental friendly factories powered by solar and wind power, while there are still wide open spaces in which all types of farms are cultivated. The main industry in The Federal Republic of Cozulul is Tourism. The Tourism industry takes up most of the Private sector due to all the pristine beaches that the country has to offer. Along with these beaches come with modern tourist towns on the coastline. Many of these cities have hotels, hostels, as well as many entertainment venues such as casinos and night clubs.

Education

The youth of the country are required to attend Primary, and Secondary schooling. Most of the students who graduate from Secondary schools do go on to attend Tertiary schools. Not necessarily all the schools in The Federal Republic of Cozulul are well known, but a few stick out. The most well known schools have many students from foreign backgrounds including students from other continents.

Religion

The Federal Republic of Cozulul is a secular nation, but the majority of the populace are Lutheraner, which heavily follows that of Lutheranism. The rest of the populace have taken to the religion of Gaeanism which is originally from The Divine Republic of St. Oz. In the past there have been religious conflicts, but since the government switched to being secular, not many problems have occurred.

Geography

The Federal Republic of Cozulul is situated in the northern part of Parvusia, just south of The United Empire of Novmir. The mainland part of Cozulul, is mainly flat. However, most of the islands have high peaks, one of them has the highest point in Cozulul! The valleys of the peaks on these islands are where most of the Edelweiss flowers are grown. The Edelweiss flower grows in those ideal conditions.

Climate

All of Cozulul has a pretty tropical climate especially by the islands. The only reason for the weather to get cold is when the air currents shift and lower the temperature by more than a couple of degrees.

Military

The Federal Republic of Cozulul has An Army, A Navy, and An Air force. All citizens age 18 or older are required to do a years worth of military training, afterwards they may volunteer their time in the military.

The Federal Army

The Army is doing fairly well, however less people are joining after their required one year of training. Because of the lower amount of funding, many cutbacks have been made, therefore the army has cheaper weaponry and less of it.

The Federal Navy

The Navy is where most of the funding for the Military goes. Because of the many islands, the country took into account that the navy must move quick to get to said islands in case of an attack. The Navy is seeing more people joining. Because of the many people joining the Navy, larger vessels have been made, including the Super Carrier, Cosiedon.

The Federal Air Force

The Air force is relatively new, however is still very modern. The newly designed Cozeus, is an unmanned drone, that if necessary, fire missiles that are being carried on the underbelly of the aircraft. The Air force is growing, however the numbers are still low. This is why the Cozues was created, so it could fill the position of a pilot.

Health

The citizens of Cozulul have free health insurance, which leads to such a long life expectancy. Cozululians also have access to many medicinal drugs and can receive them, by permission from a doctor. The only major reasons for death in the country are from Cancer, and other serious medical conditions where a cure cannot be found.

The Taijitu Relief System

The Taijitu Relief System or TRS, is an organization, similar to the Red Cross, in the sense that it is meant for people in trouble and that need help on a large scale. TRS is based in the capital city of Cozulul, Samarinda. TRS is committed to helping others in need whether it be natural disaster, war relief, or government instability, they will be there.
