Preamble
This act will establish certain criminal offenses and punishments for them.
Section 1: Misdemeanors
- A misdemeanor will be any criminal act which does not immediately threaten regional security.
- Any person who commits a misdemeanor may not be permanently banned as punishment for it unless they have a preexisting criminal record.
- The following will be considered misdemeanors:
- Impersonating any private person;
- Distributing the private materials of any person, including chat logs, internet protocol addresses and email addresses, without their permission;
- Altering the personal information of any person, including avatars, user-names, signatures, posts and post counts, without their permission.
Section 2: Felonies
- A felony will be any criminal act which immediately threatens regional security.
- Any person who commits a felony may be permanently banned as punishment for it.
- The following will be considered felonies:
- Providing false information to the Government;
- Impersonating a government official or member of the armed forces;
- Distributing classified materials without the permission of the Delegate;
- Seizing the in-game delegacy when not serving as Delegate;
- Distributing false information about any election, petition or referendum, including times, places, methods, candidates, signatures and results;
